Tyler has been selected as the Gatorade Player of the Year in Virginia. He averaged 12 points, 7.9 assists and 2.4 rebounds while leading Oak Hill to an undefeated season and school record of 44-0.

Not sure how this could even be possible, since they are undefeated for the season! The writers claim that if certain things happen, the number two team (Findlay Prep) could surpass Oak Hill in the rankings!

Steve Smith, head coach of the Oak Hill Warriors was named Naismith Boys' High School Coach of the Year on Friday.

Tonight the Warriors were at home to take on the Patriots of Shenandoah Valley Christian Academy.
This Tuesday, February 21st the Warriors will take on Shenandoah Valley Christian Academy at Turner Gymnasium. This will be the first of only three remaining games. Make plans now to come out and support the team!

Although this season is not complete, Coach Smith is already looking ahead to next season!

Tonight, at home, Oak Hill took on Quality Education from Winston Salem, NC.
The rosters were released on Thursday for the upcoming 2012 McDonald’s All-American Basketball Squads. Tyler was named to the East Team. Tyler continues the now twelve year streak, where Oak Hill has at least one player in the McDonald’s game! Congratulations Tyler!

The Warriors defeated Westwind Prep at home tonight by a score of 83 – 57. Way to go guys, keep up the hard work! With this win, the Warriors move to 36 – 0 on the season! We need nine more wins to finish undefeated this season!

Next the Warriors will face the Maroon Tide of Galax High School. This game will take place at Galax High School on Thursday, Feb. 9th 2012 at 7pm.
The final game of the week will take place at UNC Asheville’s new Kimmel Arena. Oak Hill will take on Veritas Christian Academy. This game will be Friday, Feb. 10th 2012 at 7:30pm.
